Journal of ISORECEA

Religion and Society in Central and Eastern Europe (RASCEE) is an open-access peer-reviewed annual (published in December) academic journal reflecting critical scholarship in the study of religion in the region.

As a multidisciplinary journal, RASCEE publishes scholarly papers on different aspects of religion in Central and Eastern Europe (sociological, anthropological, cultural, political, legal, historical, psychological, geographical, etc.). RASCEE welcomes theoretical and empirical articles, research-in-progress papers, book reviews and short communications.

Publisher: ISORECEA, Croatia (Amruševa 11, 10000 Zagreb)

RASCEE was hosted on the West Virginia University web platform (first three issues: 2005, 2006, 2010). From 2011, when the ISORECEA became its publisher, the hosting of the journal moved from the West Virginia University in the USA to the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, Croatia to https://rascee.net/index.php/rascee.

 

Journal Religion and Society in Central and Eastern Europe is included in Index to the Study of Religions Online (a cross-searchable database and bibliography of journal articles), ATLA Religion Databases, European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS) and in EBSCO Publishing – Academic Search Complete, SocIndex with Full Text and in Central and Eastern European Academic Source.

Since 2020 RASCEE journal is indexed in Scopus database.
